From Engagement Shoot to Wedding Day
Being able to work with your wedding day hair and makeup artist for your engagement session is a great perk. I personally offer a special rate for my brides to work with me on their engagement session. I honestly love the extra time I get to spend getting to know people this way. It also gives me an idea of hair texture, and skin texture. I can better direct you on how to prep for your trial. It is not necessary, just a nice bonus!
For example, I had already worked with Lindsay’s beautiful curls and knew how I would need to prep her hair to get the desired look she wanted. Another example would be if you want to wear your hair down, and are considering extensions. When I get to work with your hair before the wedding day, I can better direct you about which extensions to purchase.
I met Lindsay and Joe through their wedding day photographer, Kate Styles Photography. I did hair and makeup for Lindsay at her engagement session, and had such a great time getting to know the both of them! When she wanted to book me for their wedding day, I was so excited! The love and care you see from Lindsay and Joe is inspiring. The genuine joy felt in their engagement session made me even more excited to be a part of their wedding day! This as one of their engagement photos. (Kate captures the yummiest golden light)
Lindsay and Joe’s wedding date was actually also their dating anniversary date. And, their ceremony was at her childhood church. How sweet is that?!?!
Fun moments from the Wedding Day
The morning of Lindsay and Joe’s wedding day was laid back as the girls prepped and enjoyed listening to some jams. And, these wedding day photos speak for themselves. Everyone got ready at The Mill at Fine Creek, headed to the church, then came back for the reception at The Mill at Fine Creek. I was so honored to be a part of this day!!
