I have started to get messages asking if I am okay because I have not been active around here. ⁣

Everything is great with the business. Booking is in full swing for 2021, and with phase 2 of reopening we are starting to see weddings back on the calendar for later this summer. Senior sessions on getting on the calendar, and things are looking up. ⁣

I felt like last week I needed to let other’s voices be heard. I know there is more work to be done. I spent a lot of time listening last week. And, planning how I can do better. ⁣

It is 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝 to believe the days that have come and gone without the celebrations happening. ⁣

When things started to get 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐝, I thought there was no way our September wedding would be affected. ⁣
⁣
We are still 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 to make the final call, but I have started to get the e-mails from our vendors I was sending as a vendor. My heart breaks for our vendor team, and we will do all we can to support them during this time. And, we will be working our new date around them if it comes to that! ⁣
⁣
Although, I am 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 that we are moving in a 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 direction for summer & 𝐟𝐚𝐥𝐥 weddings here in the U.S., I am becoming less hopeful that borders will reopen. And, our wedding day is planned to be hosted in 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞. ⁣
⁣
It has not been hard to put myself in the shoes of a 2020 bride because I am one myself. ⁣
⁣
I can say I have only been 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐝 during this season that I can not wait to marry Pierre and that I have learned so much about us. Truly, we have SO much to be 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐟𝐮𝐥 for all the time. ⁣
